93 500E runnin HOT

Running Hot.
New Radiator, T-stat,All hoses and Rad Cap 6 mo's ago. Never did run as cool after changing out everything but last 2 days car temp now running 110 when I drive 70. 100 when I drive 60 and 90's if I drive slow or in stop and go. Sounds crazy I know, But car is cooler if/when I drive slower than when at speed. These examples are with AC on. Any help out there would be greatly appreciated. In Houston its humid and miserable, so need to get this resolved fast

It sounds like you might have an air bubble in the cooling system if these things only started to happen after you changed out some of your coolant system components. Or, your t-stat may be installed backwards. I've heard it's easy to do with some MB engines.

Old threads suggest system should self purge. Replacing T-stat again today. We'll see. Thanks for feedback. Sorry I keep missing the GTG. I work on weekends....As a trade off I'm off alternating 3 or 5 week days each week

FC does not turn freely when HOT. Offer resistance when hot and when cold

Delta'd the Tstat. Dual fans kicking on way to soon after partially refilling reservoir. As it turns out although FC will allow fan to knock the #$%@ out of my hand when engine cold. After running car for only 5 minutes from dead cold, I can stop it with just 2 fingers. Will swap out the clutch tomm AM
