You have working "fuel pump, filter, fuel distributor." Have you confirmed your lines are clear ?

Sitting that long alot of goodies very easily could have collected in the lines. I popped and cleaned the hard fuel lines on a good running car and filled them with brake fluid letting it sit for ~1/2 hr and blew it out. Amazing the amount of junk that came out.

You should have a real mist spray at the injector while cranking if you just pop the fitting slightly.

The other thing... if you have a check valve in the return line that is bad... ie releasing with minimal pressure.. the car will almost never start... but if it does it will run fine. A junk yard check valve is usually under a buck.

On older Volvo's that check valve is back by the tank actually to the rear of the final fuel pump.
