Red face 300se rear axles

need a little help on replacement of rear axles on my 89 300se,looks like i need a 12 point allen type socket for the bolts that attach the axle to the rear diff, and i guess the outer shaft in the hub ataches with a single 13 mm bolt, not sure, but looks like you just drive it out with a brass drift,i will try replacing them first before doing rear wheel bearings as those look a lot more diffacult, lots of miles on the 300se 300,000 and vibration at higher speeds ,driveshaft and both flex discs and all engine and trans mounts and center support bearing have been replaced, thanks for any help on this, always have gotten good advice here.
