Sportline Package
I am considering a '93 190E 2.6 with the full Sportline/Special Edition package -- how much of a difference does the Sportline package make in terms of handling and ride quality [or tradeoff therein]? How does it compare to the AMG suspension package on my C43 AMG (which is rock hard)?
Any other thoughts on that model would be appreciated (it will be Starmarked). Thanks |

Ask JCE...
Do a search! JCE made the upgrade in his 300e and he seems very happy with the upgrade. There is an article in the DIY, I think, section with pictures.
Good luck!

Just the difference between a low profile tire on a sport model and a full size tire makes a difference in the ride quality. Now it depends on how much quiet, smooth quality you can trade off for handling. I have an e430 sport, which does not ride a smooth or quiet as the regular e430, but the performance is greatly improved.
