1994 C280 Fuel Sender Location

Does anyone have a PDF file or something for the location R&R of the fuel sender unit in a 1994 w202 C280? I don't have a manuel and could use some help. The fuel gauge is not working , I let it sit for a few weeks to see if it was something to do with the charcol cannister but it still does not move. Sometimes it will move but I know the readings are wrong. If someone has had this experience and fixed it please advise.

Thanks for any help.

There are actually 2 fuel tank units in that car.
Located on the bottom of the tank, one on either side.

Thanks Doc. I changed the fuel filters last year under the tank, is this the location of the sender units? If so how do I go about checking them? Is there any way to clean them up or do they need total replacement?

Thanks for the help.

As I said they are IN the tank,
access is from the underside at the outer corner on both sides.

Measuring resistance with OHM meter is the way to diagnosis.

They should each measure between 5-95 OHM's.
