500E springs on a 400E?
Can I fit 500e springs on my 400e to improve handling?

You might as well just buy some H&R or Eibach springs. It will be cheaper and provide just as good handling improvements.

Doubt it as the 500E has SLS... would cause the 400E to sag out back.

SLS was standard on all 500E.

Hence my posting saying the 500E SLS springs on standard 400E shocks will not work properly. I own two BMWs converted in such a manner.
