You probably could get more help

If you would "eyeball" these transmissions side by side and make note of obvious differences. They might be exactly the same externally, or there might be great differences in electrical or electronic hook ups. That would be my big worry. First of all, are they physically alike. They are probably very close, but they have to be exactly alike. If you get past the first test, then you have to determine whether the electronics will make or break your plan. Check that out and tell us what you find.

i am wondering the same thing . i have good 722355 trans that is supposed to be fitted into a 380. The only difference i have come across is the cut out in the 355 trans for the EZL pickup . The EZL engines have a different flex plate for the trigger but the convertor looks the same to me.
What i would like to find is more info on the Wiring set up.
