fuel distributor on a '84 190
HI guys!
I am looking at cars to buy and I found a 1984 190....the guy says it runs fine after it warms up, but it's troubled when the engine is cold....(he was somewhat vague or maybe just uninformed).. He said his mechanic thinks it needs a fuel distributor... He also said they are hard to find (?).....hmmmm. Any thoughts? Does this sound possible? Is it a hard to fix thing??? The car looks very nice and is only going for 1000$ ~Christy |

Do not guess at any one's word to whether the fuel distributor is bad or not. Have it thoroughly tested. Twice, if necessary. Fuel dist. are not hard to find. You can get it at Fastlane, but it's gonna cost around $550 for a rebuilt one, I think.
Installing a new fuel distributor is not an easy feat. Have an experienced mechanic attempt this. You will save lots of wasted time and headaches. Vu |
