anyone in washington state with some experience they dont mind helping out?

i need to figure out how to mount this hood emblem righ now its a complete hole in the hood. there is nothing there on either side.

i bought the new emblem assembly and it came loaded (when I was messing with it the metal tab that held the spring tight on the bottom of the emblem poped out.

Having trouble getting it re loaded.

need to know how or what I am missing to make this mount.. i have some other stuff from the original in the truck that cam with the car. (looks to be the lower half of the new assembly.)

and some kind of threaded thing with a sleve on one end and a nut on the other.

I would like to get this mounted but I really am at a total loss.
