Easy Question for someone other than me, I'm sure

Im trying to figure out what these 2 Wires are in the left side of the pic.
One wire had a pin pinput connector and the other has a C shape at the end and almost looks like a ground.

That connector either leads to a control unit box, other end at the original MB stereo (Becker)

so does the the power antena operate without a seoerate power source?
I'm guessing that the power antena is out but im not 100% just plug it in and the antena should rais and lower?
