Pin 8 code 49

RE: 1995 E320 This fuel injection code means voltage supply @ engine control module implausible/low voltage. Does anyone know where to start with that one? All I know is I'm getting AWFUL mileage. It's maybe between 5-10 mpg. Amazingly though, the engine runs fine and accelerates well etc. I've got the correct Bosch plugs in it.
The OVP is relatively new, the 15 amp fuse is intact, and it's a "late model" MB OVP. I also have a code 5 on pin 3 which is an EGR issue which I've had for a few weeks now - still working on that one.

Does the code erase?
OVPR would be the most likely cause for that code!
That code would not cause a drop in mileage.

I erased it last night. I will check again today to make sure it's gone. I will update this afternoon, thanks. I still have to unplug my EGR tube on the intake side.

Yup, code 49 is gone. Obviously a phantom code. Damn this infantile OBD I technology is annoying. Now I just have to deal with the EGR tube.
