Help please. Euro 1983 380SL Fuel Head

Hi folks.

Resurrecting a basket case here. Just rebuilt the 116 motor and now floods on cranking.

I have need of a fuel line diagram for this motors 'Fuel Distributor Head'.
This is not a Lambda controlled distributor Head.

I am having immediate fuel delivery on cranking from the injectors. Enough to keep the engine running in N at 3800 rpm....but swamps the motor if allowed to pump fuel while cranking .

I am touching a wire to BATT+ in the cig' lighter as I crank it with half throttle, this allows the motor to catch and rev's to 3800 rpm with continual running of the pump.

I routed the Cold Start Injector line from where is seemed to fit best and the WUR to the horizontal fitting, ahead of the pressure control in the Distributor Head.

That is it comes around the Distributor Head and goes forward to the horizontal port on the pressure control housing. The Cold Start comes off the port angled down at 45 degrees.

Anyone point me to a diagram to double check this routing?

I don't have another car here to check my routing and although there are many pictures on the www, none of them cover my problem.

regards all

dk

PS. The Air Flap is hard on the lever...ie: No free play when the fuel pump runs. Pushing it with my fingers it plunges down with fuel pressure resistance and returns to it's stop smoothly.
