w124 clutch bleeding

Hey guys, recently had a ABS module replaced by a local indie shop. since then clutch pedal sticks after being egaged. sometimes i have to pry it up with my foot for the spring to engages. im guessing the clutch needs a bleeding. How does one go about bleeding the clutch? does this symtom have anything to do with the replacement of the Master cyl and ABS unit?

perhaps it's the master replacement that caused the trouble. the brake master resevoir feeds the clutch master cyl. it's very possible air got into the clutch system. there's a bleeder screw on the slave cyl on the transmission. push the pedal, open the screw, close the screw, raise the pedal. repeat until pedal feel returns. takes 2 people. try that. if that doesn't make it work, then REPLACE BOTH the clutch master and slave cyls. a new master against an old slave and vice versa will make the other leak. good luck, chuck.

Look for a ~1/4" tube going to the transmission area. Follow it till it ends at the transmission. It will terminate at the slave cylinder. There should be a bleed nipple on the cylinder similar to what you see on brake calipers.
