Do anyone know of any method for re-blacking the black parts of the chrome trim around the doors ?

Some swear by Mother's Back to Black, but others use less orthodox means such as those mentioned here .
I have tried the unorthodox method of the passenger side handles and after almost four months they still look good. Next wash & wax all handles get treated.

there is another product out there called "forever black" which supposedly lasts the longest, i think because it contains dyes. haven't tried it yet but i've tried mother's back to black and it is a big improvement, just not permanent.

I've used two products. Black Again, which is not a dye, and Forever Black, which is. Both work great. Available from Coachworks, in Chicago. emmonscoachworks.com or 1-800-now-4-wax.
