C36 can't go past 1500 RPM!

Yesterday, my 1995 C36 suddenly refused to go beyond 1500 RPM. It was shaking and bucking and felt like the computer was cutting off the fuel every time the tach hits 1500 RPM so I figured this must be a limp mode and took it home. Got the codes read today, would really appreciate if somebody can point me in the right direction

Control unit HFM 3.6L by VDO
Code 076 Fuel pump relay K27 discontinuity/short circuit
Code 117 Starting attempt with locked IFZ
Code 104 Safety fuel cut-off recognized
Code 110 Controller HFM N3/4 supply voltage implausible
Code 182 HFM N3/4 fuel safety cut-off signal

Today the car is fine, even after I had warmed it up a bit by some spirited driving so I am at a loss. I cleared the faults. Has anyone here experienced this?

The voltage code is most likely an issue with the overvoltage relay.

The codes 182 & 104 are both related to a problem with the throttle actuator.

found an old case with similar

Thank you for the reply M.B. Doc, I've been doing a lot of back-reading of old posts and found a thread from 2006 with exactly the same symptoms as mine. Throttle Surging issues E320 PLEASE HELP!

May I ask where the throttle actuator and the OVP is located and how can I check them if they are bad?
