fuel pump relay location?

hi,i purchased a fuel pump relay trying to fix an unknown fuel issue,im impressed as to how huge this piece is,does anyone know where it is located? i know there is allot of electrical located behind the battery by removing the plastic false firewall section on passengers side.1989 300ce 6 cyl.thanks guys.marc

Its the medium sized component. The big one is your "brain". The Smallest one that is partly red is your OVP.

I should also add that you will see 2 similar relays. One will say "Klima" on the top, that's not it (Klima is for the AC compressor), it's the other one, which should match closely what you bought, will say "6 ZYL" on it and also list an rpm speed, which is the safety cutout speed of the fuel pump relay.

Can any member post picture of the relay set up on a 450SL 1977? I have tried the search without success. Regards, Abe G
