Euro Yellow Fog....
Well someone told me it would be difficult, etc. Or that I would have to swap reflectors.
Just did the swap in 45 minutes. Did not even remove the headlight assemblies. I was curious (peaked by area dense fog advisory) so I took apart my US DOT assemblies only to find that the reflector has nothing to do with the color. its just a yellow glass dome over the H3 bulb. Good thing since the reflectors are not interchangeable. To do that would require drilling and some fabrication. All I had to do was pop the glass and take out the Euro fog reflector. Just had to pry from one side a little then tilt it horizontal to remove from the upper adjuster. I had no lamps installed yet, so one ground wire and it was out. Then I just had to bend four tab back so the light holder would come out. I noted the direction and did the same to the US reflector. Then just installed the US fog lamp holder with attached yellow glass dome and bent the tabs back. Make sure the holder base is WELL seated and "keyed" into position. Very easy swap and no worry of worn out and tired reflectors being put into new lights. Very happy with results! pic attached is back of fog reflectors
