AutoTap OBDII code reader
Anybody using the AutoTap unit? I have one and it worked fine with my 2002 but wont read the codes on my 2007..

Which of these use CAN? Just the '07? Does your unit support CAN?

I dont know but I will tomorow as I will call AutoTap and ask..

Called AutoTap. He had me chlange a com port number in device manager to com 1 asnd it all works great. The code it threw was " B Camshaft Position Timing over" Cleared the CEL and so far all is good.. Wonder what made that code come up ?

I bought AT back in the 1990s? I have not used it in forever since my is serial based and for the hassle of obtaining a quality converter and making it work, I would just go buy a new OBD2 reader for $40.
