Fastlane parts prices, and availability?

Just read the forum rules, and am curious what percentage of my fellow forum users has had success in using thier distribution? I'm game to buy if they have what I need, at a competitive price. How are their prices, and what are you using for a comparison? I'm new to Mercedes, and was shocked at the lack of parts for a 1994 2DR 500S. Online a repop standard brands window regulator for a 1994 4DR 500S was $53.00, but search as I might there were none available for the 2DR, and the price if available was $1500.00, and every part I tried to find was the same deal!! Yikes!! I'm going to search Fastlane right now to give you guys time to respond....see ya!

Ok update edit: Just ordered a new vacuume door lock actuator $30.00 and a cigarette lighter $57.00. Lighter seemed a little steep at first glance, but it should perhaps be listed as Complete Lighter Assembly; element, base, and pigtail with correct plug. Not bad Fastlane Peach Pelican People!!!

Well not bad, just ordered three parts, the lighter seemed a little steep at $54.00 but the photo shows not just the lighter, but what I would call a Full Lighter Assembly, and Pigtail. Sound like I got my $$$'s worth now huh????? Cool, cause I smoke cigarettes, yes, while I drive, yes, in my Mercedes Benz, and no, of course I can never find my darned butane lighter!!!!

I've used Pelican Parts for years. Good service and competitive prices. However, being a Kalifornia resident I have to pay sales tax if I buy from them. Small items are not a problem but expensive items make me look outside of the State. MB of Atlanta is a good site to check on dealer prices. Sounds also like you need to sign up for EPC so you can find the EXACT part number for your car.
And one last word, don't buy cheap crap from eBay or other sources for critical items on your Mercedes. A sign in my garage says: "There is nothing more expensive than a cheap Mercedes"
