W208 2000 CLK Soft Top
I've searched through countless threads, but can't find my specific issue addressed. I apologize in advance if I've missed a thread that addresses this problem.
Symptoms: - Soft top control module has been replaced - Soft top does not actuate (although windows go down properly and relay clicks) - Head restraints do not go up/down - Windows have been reset - Battery has been disconnected/reconnected - Relay has been replaced - Voltage (through A/C diagnostic is 14.2) - Trunk seems to open/close/lock properly - Luggage switch is closed - Top light does not blink (remains solid when trying to actuate) Would the trunk lock impact the roll-bar/head restraints? Is it possible to by-pass or close the loop on the trunk lock to eliminate this as a cause? I have palm trisco scanner, but can't find any particularly relevant fault codes using the 38 pin connector. Thank you in advance. |
Sounds like the pump motor has gone bad, common issue.
When the switch is operated do you hear an electric motor running? |
