1992 300 CE Fuel Delivery Issue

When the car sits for a week or two this is what happens. It starts fine and then runs for about 15 minutes with no problems . Then it starts to die on accerlation and finally just dies. From there it is very hard to start. Once I get it running it will run crappy for a little while and then runs fine. If I run the car every day as a daily driver then I have not problems. What can it be. Run only premuim fuel.

Thanks

my 89 300ce has a similiar issue i have narrowed it down to the E.H.A system,it controls cold starting and warm starting,it can affect how the car drives while hot and cold,if you want to try to disconnect it and see how it runs, its located under the passengers side air box,its a black or grey rectanglular sensor on the back of the fuel distributor, see how the car runs with it disconnected, you may notice your idle raises a little higher temporarily when first unplugged, its a 2 prong terminal connector end.what it does is lean and richen the fuel mix if you notice a difference then have a proffesional diag this area.goodluck.the E.H.a> has 2 smallflat head screws holding it on to the back of the fuel distributor, dont remove it just unplug it,its under high fuel pressure.
