Using Different Style Caliper Bolt on 560SL

Car is 1987 560SL. Proper caliper bolts for the front are 10MM Hex socket style, part number A 107 421 00 71. I'm installing rebuilt calipers and would like to use a conventional hex head bolt rather than the hex socket bolt. I've been told part number A 123 421 02 71 will work--it is used on the 560 series 126 chassis model. The 10mm hex socket bolts are a pain--I broke 2 hex bit sockets getting the old bolts out. Maybe i should just invest in a better quality hex bit socket. Seems to me the conventional hex head bolt (Mercedes spec, with blue loc-tite) is preferable. Anybody know for sure if this works OK? Thks for any advice. John Downey
