i had the same problem with my 89 190e i replaced the crank positioning sensor and the coil and now it drives great .... if your car is befor the obd2 then you can put a GM coil in there and it will work plus you will save hundreds if you go that route ..... and the GM coil gives it more power so it runs better.... and the crank sensor.... go to a junk yard and find one thats clean inside.... trust me you'll save a lot of money that way

Oscar, a bit more information would help us help you. Have you now tested for spark at the plugs and there is none? How about the fuel pump? Can you hear the pump power up? Have you looked at the OVP and its fuses? Is it seated correctly? Is the MAS seated correctly? What's the condition of the engine wiring harness?
If you want to try to fix things on your car, you should probably get yourself a factory service manual so that you have access to the diagnostic tests for things like you're experiencing now. |
