Checking Fuel Sender in 124 Wagon
How does one gain access to the fuel sender on a 124 wagon. I know it has somethign to do with taking apart the rear seats. anyone have a pictoral/procedure on it?

FYI - 30 minute job, easy.
Three screws to remove third seat, pull a few of the carpet clips, pull back to reveal plastic cover. Remove cover with fingers, unplug unit, then unscrew unit with giant socket (46mm?). Pull out unit and put the new one in... Put all back together and voila! |

Not familiar with this being a wear item. What were the symptoms? Or were you just looking for something to do?
