Exclamation Starter Wires M104 in 95 W202

Can somebody confirm for me the number of wires connected to the starter on a 95 C280. I did an engine swap and when reconnecting the harness I was presented with 3 wires near the starter 1 large lead that runs directly from the battery (that was a no brainer) and two small wires that looked like they went to the trigger (the small lug) lead. One of the 2 smaller wires looks like it could also be a ground. I am unable to locate a wiring diagram that depicts the connections in question. So if anyone can confirm the proper cabling of the starter I would greatly appreciate it. Just for the record my helper disconnected the starter and I don't want to rely on his foggy recollection considering what this harness cost to replace.
Thanks,
-Jim

Thanks for the quick reply. It appears there are 3 wires that go to the starter.

That chart is a little confusing - whether the third wire is violet, or violet and white.

True, but there are no other wires in the area that have lugs on the ends. Everything else has plugs.
