Motor storage?
How long would I be able to store the motor of my 300CE without gaskets (head) and such going bad. Would I have to do anything special for prep before I store it?

I'd put this in technical for better answers.
I've never had headgaskets go bad from sitting. I've had some water or seals seep a little from drying out. I use Stabil Fogging oil to shoot into the cylinders to prevent them from rusting while it sits. When I go to re-start a motor that has been sitting I pull the valve cover and pour oil on the cams and down the timing chain.

Also turn the motor over by hand (i used a long socket wrench) every once-in-a-while to make sure all is moving correctly as well.
