Exclamation 95 S320 leaking oil from the exhaust manifold

I have 95 S320. The check engine light is on and have run the codes on it. I can not remember what the codes were exactly but i know I have some bad vacuum lines and I think my fuel pressure was a little off. My big problem is that I am leaking lots of oil! I keep pouring in new oil all the time but most of it seems to just flow right out within the next couple days of light driving. I have targeted this leak to the exhaust manifold. It is leaking right at the bottom of the exhaust manifold gasket. Shortly after I start the car, I get a small amount of white smoke flows up from that spot as well. I have considered replacing the manifold gasket to stop this leak but I have been told that cracking the bolts on the manifold is almost definite. I don't know why my exhaust manifold would leak oil because that is supposed to just have exhaust fumes in it, correct? Does anyone know why this would happen or what I can check to find the source of my problem?
I have ruled out a bad head gasket because there are no signs. No mixed oil or coolant, no smoke flowing out the tailpipe, no pieces of gasket in the tail pipe either.
The engine temperature runs a little high when stopped for a while. I have already replaced the radiator because of a bad oil cooler valve, the thermostat, and the water pump.
Can blocked or bad vacuum lines create problems with airflow out of the engine and make it hotter?

Thanks! i'll ask my mechanic about that. I've decided to take my car to a shop for a proper diagnostic but I can't afford the shop work so I have my fingers crossed that there is an article here on how to fix that yourself

i saw my mechanic and he told me that i have a bad head gasket. luckily he's a cool guy and is willing to help me out to pay a cheaper price to get the job done. the oil isn't coming from my exhaust manifold gasket luckily. the bottom of the exhaust manifold is right where the aluminum portion of the engine meets the cast iron portion and that is where it is leaking

Mine is not leaking, but the day it does. I do need to find a place. Do you mind sharing where you went, and how much for the repair?

Thanks,

Martin

I go to Ernie's Mercedes which is now call Bremen Motor works in orangevale, CA. He is charging me between $1200 to $1500 total for the head gasket job. I haven't done it yet because I am trying to get the money together but the head gasket job includes all new gaskets for my engine, spark plugs, oil change, etc. I'm also planning on getting a new timing chain since mine has never been changed. He's a very knowledgeable, honest guy so I recommend him
