What fuel mileage does your Mercedes average?

Checked the MPG for the first time today on my 1988 300SEL. I was pretty pleased to see it gets 20.1 mpg in town.

The SDL averages 27mpg. I am happy because the 300SD only averaged 24

The '88 560SEC averages around 17 - this was greatly improved after my indie tuned the engine and set the air/fuel ratio.
the '93 300d averages around 30mpg.
Newest addition, '95 E320 seems to get around 26 on highway. I haven't had it long enough to get a good average reading.

A fuel mileage poll should always IMO include the type and speed of driviing. My cars get drastically better mileage on a 60mph highway run than they do with the cruise set at 77 on the freeway.

'94 E 320: 77mph on snowy/blowing freeway with 3 snowboards on Yakima rack: 23mpg average 2-way 400miles.

Our 300E has gotten anywhere from 11.5mpg to 22.5 depending on how well it was running for that particular tank.

My 300SD (which I love more every day after dealing with a gasser) gets anywhere from 18 to 24 in the winter (depends how much idling/reving to get out of snowbanks....) and a solid 23-26 in the summer.

My 1996 E320 gets consistently 20 mpg in mixed driving 40% town 60% highway. Should be better I guess.

I get about 26-27 MPG in Max, my 300TD. I haven't really checked the mileage in the SEC. I'm afraid I wouldn't want to know what that is. Right now, I'm just enjoying the low gas prices while they last. I've been driving the hell out of it.
