Ferdman, I only tried to start the engine after I was able to do manual rotation by hand (2 complete revs). However, I am only able to do this when I set my exhaust dowel about 50-70 degs above the suggested dowel settings. Now as you may know, when I do this I don't have strong enough compression to start the car. Do you know any remedy to setting my timing chain right without hitting pistons and valves?. I made sure the cam adjuster is in retarded position as well but I still have valves & pistons interference. Please help if you know anything I might do to fix this problem
