300TE Transmission leak passenger side

Hopefully somebody out there can help me. I have read all the archives but I still have 1 small question. I see where my transmission is leaking. It is from the second large round cover on the passenger side of the transmission. Sorry I don't know what it is called. I need to know how to get the cover off. Most of the archives are about the dipstick tube or the last small round pump on the passenger side. I have a leak from the large middle one. Any advice. I hate to spend a fortune getting the leak fixed because the transmission works great it just won't stop leaking.

Thanks in advance
Chuck

Use some sort of soft device to push the cover inward to the transmission. Rubber hammer or soft mallet. Be careful, dont break anything. Doing so will allow the retainer clip to be removed with a screwdriver. There is no spring behind this cover. Pop cover off, replace O ring and back on again.

Yes, the cover moves in to expose the retainer ring. You pull it out and the ring is covered.
