Strange 2.6 amp power draw 1984 300SD

Hey folks, I have been all over this forum searching for an answer and have finally decided to post my specific problem. My 1984 300sd developed a 2.6 amp power draw over night and killed my battery. I started by removing fuses one at a time with multimeter conected and that did not show anything because the draw is actually between 2 fuses. I was only able to figure this out by removing all the fuses at once and then replace them one by one until it showed draw. I have a 2.6 amp draw on both #13 and #15 fuses. its 2.6 with the fuse only in #13 and 2.6 with a fuse only in #15 it is also 2.6 with both fuses in. This is the part that confuses me. I guess me main question is... Why would both systems show the exact same draw? Shouldn't they be totally disconnected from each other? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Just a quick refresh,
#13 controls diagnostic, hazard warning, system clock, central locking, seat adjustment memory, radio.
#15 controls trunk light, roof light front and rear, illumin, vanity mirror light, saftey belt handover arm, door lights, autom antenna, warning monitor term. 5

Thanks a lot in advance!
-Spencer
