1991 500SL Car running super rich!!!!

Car has been a nightmare.......Had ASR problem fixed it. Now car is running super rich! The aroma of fuel is very apparent anywhere around the car not of a fuel leak, rather of unburned fuel. I have replaced both rotor buttons and caps, all spark plug wires check out, changed plugs. I have leaned up the air/fuel ratio adjustment. Nothing has began to fix issue. You can rev the car up and it just doesn't feel right, the throttle response isn't there. My question is, is there a computer on this car that controls the fuel injection, that could be causing the car to be dumping to much fuel in the system? Or any other ideas why it would be running so rich?

Could be a stuck fuel distributor.....or faulty valve. Fuel is metered by the EHA adjusting the fuel distributor. Possible that you have bad injectors drooling fuel also.
