88 300e sputtering hard start on wet days

I have an 88 300e. The car runs fine on days when it is dry. We have had rain for the last couple of days and the car has been hard to start and runs rough. It hesitates on take off and an acceleration. Any suggestion? The distributor cap rotor wires plugs and fuel filter are less that 6 months old.

This is getting on my nerves.
