92 300 TE 4matic power seat control microswitch question
My pass side seat back would go back but not forward.
I removed the control switch on the door. I found that the microswitch for the seat back is only works one way. I moved the wires inside the clamp so I am using the headrest switch to move the seatback now but the headrest only goes down. My question is: Do the microswitches come off the circuit board inside the control? If they do I can try to source a new one at a wreckers, or at least swap the seatback and headrest microswitches. Thnaks Jim

A good used seat switch would be the simple choice.

Door Switch - Dry joints
It has been a while since I fixed my drivers door switch. I did lots of continuity checks to narroe down where to look on the switch and then looked at the solder joints with a magnifing glass only to find "odd" hazy looking solder joints that were indeed the problem. A dab with the soldering iron and the switch was repaired.
