w211 air suspension bleed-down 'Cure?'

Continued from a long previous thread, but Ive managed a cure for the bleed down which is sometimes rapid leaving me on the bumpers after a shopping trip, but other times staying up fine overnight.
Im assured its a leak in the air bag but ??? What I find is the system often bleeds off when parking or opening a door, just a small Pffft adjustment. And I also find I can inflate the bags with the scanner and they stay up fine, until I drive and then down again.
So what I did was to inflate the bags by lifting the rear with the scanner active test, then I pulled the small fuse to the unit control, leaving the big compressor fuse under the passenger floor alone. Not sure if it could be the solenoid in the air bag or one of the computers or SAM, which I know has faults. But for now the ride height issue is fixed and the nice firm ride is very cool with my bumpy roads that call for SUV suspension!
Happy to learn any insights from the pros! Im not..just somebody who likes to get to the bottom of things.
