Stripped engine storage.

Has anyone ever heard of an engine block deforming along the main bearing bore as a result of not having the bearing caps bolted on?

Ohh! A Mystery!

Where (What sort of Environmental Conditions,Not that it matters) was the
Block stored?
How Heavy a Toyota Forklift was using it for a Platform?

Those Blocks are supposed to be/Legendary Bullet-Proof.
Urban tales of hundreds of them lying out in the Weather in a field near
Sindelfingen "Aging".
