Throttle Switch?
 

OK,,,,, There is a switch on my throttle control,,,,, not the throttle position sensor,,, it looks like a big microswitch with a roller bearing on it. is this switch supposed to be open in the rest position of my throttle?? what dose this switch do? your comments will be appreciated!

Thing you are describing the decel-shutoff switch, MB part number 002-545-68-14.
