Recommended oil change intervals on an FSS car, MBDOC?
Car is a w204 with 17k miles. Oil has been done twice by PO, and apparently the last time was in March at 11k. This is the first car I've had that I may potentially take past my normal 5k change interval, but why does that make me cringe?
The oil has 6k on it, and it looks like the oil in any of my others cars ever has by that mileage. I understand it's Mobil 1 and a special "fleece" filter, but... Maybe The Doc or some other techs on here who have experience with FSS cars, particularly the latest iteration of the M272? Let's remove any marketing and maintenance hype fro MB (if any), and get down to what a 10k change interval does to an M272 by 100-150k

Starting in 2008-09 MB went away from FSS and back to "NORMAL" every 10K mile oil services.
I would suggest that for ANY MB product! OF using 229.5 long-life oil. Every 40K trans service as well!
