!989 mercedes 300E Blower fuse
I was reading on here about someone with a similar problem as mine. My heater blower quit. Last summer I lost high but still had med and low. Now no blower at all. I have it apart down to the blower motor. I put 12v to the motor and it spins. I cant find the blower regulator, is it under the blower motor? I found the fuse, small black box on drivers side in front of fuse box. It is a metal strip fuse which I am not familiar with. How do I know if it is bad? It's not broken however I did look at it a few months ago and it was straight. Now it is a bit wavy. I checked for continuity and it did have some but i'm not sure how to tell if it is bad. I would like to replace it where can I get a fuse like that?

Hi,
The blower motor regulator is located under the blower motor. As for the fuse, I've seen it available at most online parts shops, or you can go to the dealer. They're like a whopping $2, can't go wrong if its questionable. If you already have it apart down to the blower motor, consider replacing it if it's original. They are known to start squealing and groaning around this age. I need to perform this operation soon myself. Hope this helps.
