Are gaskets needed between exhause manifold and catalytic pipe 190E 2.3?
Does anyone know if gaskets are required between the catalytic converter exhaust pipe and the exhaust manifold? I am replacing the catalytic converter assembly and I need to know which rubber hangers and compression gaskets to buy.

The manifold end is rounded outwards and the exhaust flange is kind of funnel shaped to receive it, right? Then no gasket is required. -CTH

Yes that is the way they are shaped. Thanks for your reply.
