LIFTER UPDATE 2003 3.5

It went quite! after a week of running it with a qt of ATF that the dealer put in it, then I dumped it. Then added a qt of Rislone w/ Mobil 1 0-30wt, drove about 300 miles & then it went quite. I didn't ever think that it would actually help the engine! I figured a big repair was coming. What a nice Christmas gift for us!. Anyway I plan on changing the oil again this weekend & maybe going back with the Mobil 1 0-40wt, unsure about running it with a qt of Rislone again?? What do you guys think? I know with the short trips that this rig usually gets I will change it at 5000 miles. Thought some of you guys would like to hear that some of this stuff really works! Don't know if was the ATF or the Rislone, I know it was real dirty when I drained it with the ATF after just one week of driving, I think it was probably the ATF with all its detergent in it. Thanks, (actually the engine is the quietist that it ever has been since we owned it, HOPE IT LASTS!

That is good news & good FEEDBACK!

Now if the oil gets changed at a reasonable mileage (7500) every time,
you should be noise free!
