W126 steering box lock?
 

I thought I read, but can not find, info about the recirculating steering box having some sort of lock out. So when one does an alignment the steering wheel stays perfectly centered.

Is that correct? And if so how does one go about locking it?

the alignment can be done without the lock pin. good luck, chuck.
