W126 steering box lock?
I thought I read, but can not find, info about the recirculating steering box having some sort of lock out. So when one does an alignment the steering wheel stays perfectly centered.
Is that correct? And if so how does one go about locking it?

Try this link. It shows the bolt and where it goes. How to reseal a MB steering gear Go to steps 39 to 43.
Paul PS I hope this works. I found it in the DIY section of this board. It was titled "How to Reseal a MB Steering Gear".
