AC Problem on newer car
The air conditioning quit working on my 2000 E430 with only 17K miles. Dealer replaced dryer and some O rings under warranty. Can anyone tell me why this happened? Is it common or just "another broke part" that one deals with on machines? I live in Nashville, TN and the car is garaged and driven almost daily. THANKS!

Sounds like you just had a refrigerant leak which the dealer located and repaired. An uncommon failure for certain, but not really a big deal. I've not heard of any chronic a/c problems on the 210 chassis. Thus far it seems to be both reliable and powerful. Chalk this one up to "stuff happens"
