'99 C280 Cruise Control Computer

Hello All! I am trying to find the location of the Cruise Control Computer/Amplifier/Module (many names for the same part) in my '99 C280. My cruise has never worked as long as I have owned the car and thought I would try this first before tearing apart the steering wheel. I searched online and got some ideas as to the location but every place I checked I couldn't seem to locate. The Part # for this is 016 545 77 32.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

No such computer.

The fuel system computer operates the cruise.

Any codes in the traction system?

A search of the electronic parts catalog only shows that part number for a C220/C230 in the North American market.
