Plastic Pieces in M116 Oil Pan / Changing Oil Level Sender Seals
Hey everyone,
I was just starting to fix up this oil leak on the 420SEL. I dropped the pan and found this: I think it goes to that one far back hole.. But I'm not entirely sure, never had an oil pan off before. Also not entirely sure how to change out these seals, the FSM was not entirely specific.      I looked it up in the EPC, it looks like it goes on the bottom of the strainer?  What do you guys think? Is this an important piece?
