Another fan of SeaFoam here.

This past weekend, I was unlucky enough to buy a tankful of bad gas (it had water) for my e320. The car idled funny, gutless accelation, it would go up hills like it was a diesel.

I had no drygas handy but had a couple of cans of SeaFoam. So I dumped in the SeaFoam and drove aimlessly around town to burn off the fuel.

Almost like magic, the car went back to its 'normal' state. I won't be buying gas from that station anymore and I'll be sure to keep some SF closeby.

The stuff is pretty expensive compared to the other stuff (stp, etc) but worth it in my opinion.

look for stations on a hill,or that have good drainage. Most small gas stations are barely legal with their tanks.
I do use Seafoam every six month to clean injectors, and clean carbon out of upper cylinder.

Use 99% or highest percent alcohol to treat water in fuel, or drain the tank.

That was a mean thing to say.

And an inaccurate one: my 350 SDL will go up a hill very very nicely, thank you.

Whunter chokes when people say they use Seafoam, I'd love to get him to weigh in on this thread to provide the reasons why.

Don't disagree. Just saying its pretty pricey for what it is. Proportionaly if you mix coleman fuel, sewing machine oil and iso alcohol together it will amazing look, smell and function just like SF @ <$10 for a couple gallons.
