Brake RPM sensor W126 - how do I remove it?

As I am doing the suspension on our 560SEL, I am having trouble removing the brake rpm sensor. The cable is routed through something that is attached to the back of the dust shield. I have removed the allen key screw on the sensor just as the Benz official manual states, but I can't get the sensor to move in any direction, and I don't want to break anything.

Does anyone know how to safely remove this? It needs to be removed in order to free the steering knuckle...

Thanks!

Anyone? I am referring to the ABS sensor, which I now see is an expensive part...

Just spray a little penetrating lube on it, twist slightly while pulling out,an oring seals body of sensor , it could be rusty, if it breaks so be it it shouldnt.
