Does an 87 190E 2.3 have a idle air control valve

Hey hows it going, Newer member here, Awesome Forum by the way!!!!!

I have an 87 190E with the 2.3L. I have been having issues with my car cutting out sometimes going up hills and it also sputters for a second when I take off from a stop. also about once a month, it doesnt want to idle, I have to 2 foot it around to keep it running, It will do this for about 2-3 days then go back to normal, I have replaced the fuel dist., fuel filter & pump to no avail. I read that it could possibly be a mix of my TPS and Idle air control valve, but Im not sure if the 87's came with IACVs,
Does anyone have any info they could share with me on this?

Thanks in advance for any help!!!!

On the 2.3 its burried down between the 3rd and 4th cylinder intake tubes inside a rubbery mount. Our 2.3 motor passed on, and is being replaced with its diesel cousin currently. OM601.
