need help with w140 headlight switch CIRCUIT

I'm trying to trace the circuit from the HEADLIGHT SWITCH...
Do all the wires from the switch end up in a control module? I see the bundle of wires snake up past the firewall and underneath the fusebox. There are a few control modules and relays behind the fuse holder. I'm assuming one of these controls the headlights. Am I correct? And if so... does it control everything that has to do with lighting? Even ILLUMINATION (gauge, switches...park light setting), hazard, turn signals, brake lights?

Thanks
